I witnessed two people go off on each other earlier today. The older man could very well have fathered the younger.
They were both right about the individual stance they vehemently defended from my observation but then, yet, both went so wrong about the way and manner of expression.
Brings to mind Hanson's Razor: "Never attribute to malice what can be adequately explained by stupidity"
Just because we don’t agree doesn’t mean one of us is wrong; it may mean life is bigger than our angles.
Contradictions, ever so often are just perspectives refusing to bow to each other.
And when you translate this into relationships?
My goodness.
So many conflicts are not about right or wrong, they’re about perspectives fighting for dominance instead of seeking understanding.
Two people carrying valid truths, but expressing them in ways that bruise.
Sometimes the issue isn’t the disagreement..
It’s the ego, tone, timing, and the unhealed parts doing the talking.
Relationships thrive not because both people always agree,
but because they learn to hold space for two truths without losing each other.
Crazy, truly.
